CIFAL Scotland, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research affiliated training centre for Northern Europe, is a hub for capacity building, leadership and knowledge sharing between local and regional authorities, international organisations, the private sector and civil society.

CIFAL face-to-face and on-line programmes address the interlinked challenges of climate change, energy scarcity, and the uncertain provision of basic goods such as food and water.

Our programmes include leading experts in the fields of climate change, sustainable urbanization, low carbon economy, ecological design, renewable energy solutions and community resilience.
