CIFAL Scotland, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research affiliated training centre for Northern Europe, is a hub for capacity building, leadership and knowledge sharing between local and regional authorities, international organisations, the private sector and civil society.

The CIFAL Global Network is composed of 10 International Training Centres for Authorities and Leaders. The CIFAL centres are located across Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean. Since its inception in 2003, the Network has reached more than 30,000 beneficiaries through over 400 learning events.
